Yes. We hold roughly 95% of client assets in offline cold storage with an independent Canadian custodian, follow FINTRAC and AML guidelines, and run quarterly third-party penetration testing. Withdrawals above CAD 100,000 trigger an additional human review.
Most Canadian residents finish KYC in under five minutes using a photo of a valid government ID and a quick selfie liveness check. Once verified, you can fund your account immediately.
The minimum first deposit is CAD 250 on the Starter plan. Trader-tier accounts require CAD 1,000 and unlock the full assistant. Institutional accounts begin at CAD 250,000.
Interac e-Transfer is the fastest and free of charge. We also accept major debit cards, wire transfers and in-network crypto deposits from whitelisted external wallets.
Interac withdrawals usually land within a few hours. Wires settle in one to three business days. Crypto withdrawals process in roughly 30 minutes after the destination is whitelisted.

Yes. Guided mode is available immediately after onboarding. The assistant operates within the risk controls you set; you can toggle to assisted or manual mode whenever you like.
Borealmere operates within the framework set by the Canadian Securities Administrators, is registered with FINTRAC as a money-services business, and maintains information-sharing relationships with provincial regulators in Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec.
Yes. Demo mode is unlimited, ships with simulated CAD funds and uses the same engine as the live platform — so practice trades behave the way real ones will.
